Job summary

Sunrise Sanitation Services, Inc. is seeking a Customer Service Representative to be the first point of contact for customers. The role supports scheduling, billing inquiries, and account management, collaborating with Dispatch, Operations, and Sales to deliver reliable service.

The position is full-time with regular hours (Mon-Fri, 7:30 AM – 4:30 PM) and a benefits package. Prior experience in customer service is preferred, with proficiency in Excel and Microsoft Office expected.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required; some college preferred.
• Prior customer service or administrative experience required (waste industry experience a plus).
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office, especially Excel.
• Organized, detail-oriented, and able to handle multiple priorities.
• Pay: $15.00–$17.00 per hour, based on experience.

Responsibilities

• Answer incoming phone calls, emails, and messages in a professional and timely manner.
• Assist customers with account setup, service scheduling, and payment processing.
• Provide accurate information about services, pricing, and policies.
• Handle customer concerns by collaborating with Dispatch and Operations to resolve issues promptly.
• Process customer payments and deposits with accuracy.
• Maintain up-to-date customer account information and records.
• Assist with invoicing and account adjustments as needed.
• Generate reports using Excel and office systems.
• Coordinate with Dispatch on service requests, scheduling, and updates.
• Partner with Sales to provide customers with information about service options.
• Support internal teams with customer-related data and account documentation.
