Job summary

SBM is hiring a Customer Service Representative to help maintain cleanliness and sanitation across assigned areas. The role emphasizes strong verbal and written communication, safety compliance, and teamwork with supervisors and co-workers.

Shifts are Monday to Friday, daytime to early evening, with a focus on dependable performance, professional appearance, and adherence to SBM protocols and reporting systems. Training is available for those with limited prior experience.

Qualifications

• No specific education requirement, 3-6 months training or experience preferred; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Responsibilities

• Perform janitorial duties
• Perform all duties listed on the daily schedule
• Operate motorized cleaning equipment
• Maintain daily upkeep of assigned area
• Report incidents and hazardous conditions to supervisor
• Comply with safety rules, policies, and procedures
• Perform work assignments in a team with other employees
• Perform repetitive tasks
• Maintain clean work area
• Follow all protocols, company procedures, policies, and rules
• Take direction and respond to supervision
• Talk with lead, supervisor, co-workers, managers, and customers in a professional manner
• Fill in during staff shortage
• Support shift lead in completing punch-list items
• Use proper personal protective equipment
• Present a professional appearance and conduct
• Understand customer service and satisfaction
• Understand reporting systems, and of the environment
