Job summary

Mom’s Meals is seeking upbeat, people-first individuals to join our team as Customer Service Representatives in Des Moines, IA. You’ll be one of the first friendly voices our customers connect with as they place meal orders, delivering courteous, accurate assistance and entering orders into the system.

The starting wage is $17.00 per hour with weekly pay, PTO, and benefits after 30 days of employment. Hours are Monday–Friday, 9:00am–6:00pm, with potential overtime starting at 7:00am.

Qualifications

• High school degree or GED is required.
• 1 year of customer service experience preferred.
• Basic computer proficiency and ability to learn software.
• Clear oral communication skills.
• Ability to deescalate and resolve customer issues.
• Adherence to company policies and values.

Responsibilities

• Handle inbound and outbound customer service calls.
• Address questions and provide exceptional service.
• Input order information into client order screen.
• Document conversations in the client information database.
• Ensure orders are on file for assigned clients.
• Contact case managers by phone/email/fax as needed.
• Work efficiently without rushing customers.
