Job summary

Mom’s Meals is seeking a bilingual Customer Service Representative in Des Moines, IA to be the first friendly voice for Spanish-speaking customers placing meal orders.

The role runs Monday–Friday, 9:00am–6:00pm, with potential overtime and a starting wage of $18.00/hour. PTO and benefits are available after 30 days of employment. Address orders, assist clients, and input data into our systems.

Qualifications

• Fluent in Spanish and English (spoken & written).
• High school diploma or GED.
• 1 year of previous customer service experience.
• Basic computer proficiency and ability to use software in work/school setting.
• Clear oral communication skills.
• Ability to deescalate situations and resolve customer issues.
• Experience adhering to company policies and showing core values.

Responsibilities

• Handle inbound and outbound customer service calls for meal orders.
• Address questions and provide exceptional customer service.
• Input order information into client order screen.
• Document conversations in the client database.
• Ensure all assigned clients are contacted with an order on file.
• Contact case managers by phone, email, or fax for special situations.
• Work efficiently without rushing the client.
