Mom’s Meals | A Purfoods Company is seeking friendly Customer Service Representatives in Ankeny, IA. You’ll be the first voice customers hear when placing meals orders, handling inquiries and recording information. The role emphasizes helping others, learning, and growth within a mission-driven company.

The position offers a starting wage of $17.00 per hour with weekly pay, PTO, and benefits after 30 days. Work hours are Monday–Friday, 9:00am–6:00pm, with potential overtime starting at 7:00am.

Qualifications

• High school degree or GED.
• 1 year of previous customer service experience.
• Basic computer proficiency, including experience learning and using software in a work or school setting.
• Clear oral communication skills.
• Ability to deescalate situations and quickly resolve customer complaints.
• Prior experience adhering to company policies and showing core values.

Responsibilities

• Handle inbound and outbound customer service calls with our clients placing their meal order.
• Address questions, and provide exceptional customer service.
• Input order information into the appropriate client order screen.
• Document all conversations with client into client information database.
• Ensure all assigned clients are contacted and have an order on file.
• Contact case managers via telephone, email, and/or fax when a special situation arises regarding one of their clients.
