Pratt Industries is seeking a Customer Service Representative in Alabama to take and process customer orders, manage billing, and address inquiries. You will support sales, maintain customer files, and coordinate credits while coordinating with production and warehouse teams in a manufacturing setting.

Applicants should have a high school diploma or GED, and prefer experience in manufacturing or corrugated box industries. Strong communication and data-entry skills are essential for success.

Qualifications

• Excellent communication skills.
• Ability to add/subtract/multiply/divide in all units of measure and compute rates, ratios and percentages.
• Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions and solve problems.
• Application knowledge for computer data entry and product/production processes (ISO and QS).

Responsibilities

• Take customer orders from customers or sales reps.
• Place orders timely for materials and supplies for production.
• Process billing and purchase orders.
• Handle customer inquiries and complaints; follow up with internal teams.
• Maintain customer files and process changes to orders.
• Coordinate credits and track order changes.
• Assist sales personnel and support supplemental sales.
• Monitor warehouse items and restocking per customer.
• Analyze monthly usages and restocking.
• Conform to company policies and procedures.
