BlueCross BlueShield of South Carolina is seeking a full-time customer service specialist in Columbia. The role requires responding to inquiries by phone, email, and in person, documenting interactions, and coordinating with other departments to resolve issues.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• 2 years of customer service or call center experience preferred.
• Ability to learn and operate multiple computer systems.
• Excellent verbal and written communication.
• Strong human relations and organizational skills.

Responsabilités

• Respond to inquiries via telephone, written, web, or walk-in and document thoroughly.
• Coordinate with other departments to resolve problems and perform research as needed.
• Process adjustments and provide feedback to management on customer needs.
• Maintain records on complaints and suggest procedural improvements.
• Handle high-stress situations with good judgment and professionalism.
