Job summary

Citizens Bank is seeking an energetic Bank Teller who will be the face of the branch, helping customers with financial solutions and education on digital banking tools. You will build lasting relationships, ask questions to uncover needs, and collaborate with Wealth Management and Mortgage teams to support more complex financial goals.

The role emphasizes high service standards, adherence to policies, and occasional weekend/evening shifts.

Qualifications

• High School degree or GED required.
• 2 years of sales and customer service experience, demonstrating an ability to meet or exceed goals.
• Ability to effectively ask questions and identify needs to improve the customer relationship.
• Proven success with building relationships, and recommending and referring products and services through in-person and phone interactions.
• Demonstrated skills in using digital technology to support the delivery of business goals.
• Aptitude to problem solve and provide solutions to customer issues.
• Recognized ability to strengthen relationships with teammates, business partners and specialists through collaboration.
• Self-motivated, confident and ability to multitask effectively.
• Ability to work branch hours, which can include weekends and evenings.
• Meet and comply with all requirements set forth in the SAFE Act, including, but not limited to successful completion of the pre-employment screening checks and obtaining a unique identifier from the NMLS.
• Qualified candidates must complete a video interview assessment after applying as the next step.

Responsibilities

• Act as the face of the branch and build lasting relationships with customers.
• Provide sound financial advice and recommend suitable solutions.
• Promote digital and mobile banking tools to customers.
• Collaborate with partners in Wealth Management, Mortgage, and Business Banking to address complex needs.
• Make outbound calls to acquire new customers and schedule financial checkups.
• Adhere to all financial policies and local regulations and ensure proper cash handling.
