Job summary

Citizens Bank is seeking a Customer Service/Bank Teller type role to help clients with financial solutions and tailored guidance. You will use strong communication skills to assess needs and recommend spending, saving, borrowing and investing options, while promoting digital banking tools.

You will partner with Wealth Management, Mortgage and Business Banking teams, and may make outbound calls to grow the customer base. Flexible hours and compliance with banking regulations are required.

Qualifications

• High School degree or GED required.
• 2 years of sales and customer service experience.
• Ability to ask questions and identify needs to improve the customer relationship.
• Proven success with building relationships, and recommending and referring products and services through in-person and phone interactions.
• Demonstrated skills in using digital technology to support the delivery of business goals.
• Aptitude to problem solve and provide solutions to customer issues.
• Recognized ability to strengthen relationships with teammates, business partners and specialists through collaboration.
• Self-motivated, confident and ability to multitask effectively.
• Ability to work branch hours, including weekends and evenings.
• Meet and comply with SAFE Act requirements (pre-employment checks, NMLS).

Responsibilities

• Help customers with financial solutions and advisory.
• Ask questions and identify needs to improve the customer relationship.
• Recommend tailored solutions across spending, saving, borrowing and investing.
• Introduce customers to digital and mobile banking options, including apps and ATMs.
• Collaborate with Wealth Management, Mortgage and Business Banking teams.
• Make outbound calls to acquire new customers and schedule financial checkups.
• Follow all financial policies and cash handling procedures.
