Job summary

Citizens Bank is seeking a Branch Banker who will know customers personally and provide trusted financial guidance. You will help with spending, saving, borrowing and investing needs while guiding customers through digital banking tools and services.

The role emphasizes building lasting relationships, meeting sales goals, and collaborating with Wealth Management, Mortgage and Business Banking teams to address complex financial needs.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required.
• 2 years of sales and customer service experience, with ability to meet/exceed goals.
• Ability to ask questions and identify customer needs to improve the relationship.
• Proven success building relationships and recommending/referencing products and services in person or by phone.
• Demonstrated skill using digital technology to support business goals.
• Aptitude to solve problems and provide customer solutions.
• Ability to strengthen relationships with teammates, partners and specialists via collaboration.
• Self-motivated, confident, and able to multitask effectively.
• Ability to work branch hours, including weekends/evenings.
• Must comply with SAFE Act requirements including pre-employment checks.

Responsibilities

• Help customers with financial solutions across spending, saving, borrowing and investing needs.
• Provide tailored recommendations based on customers’ financial goals.
• Introduce digital/mobile banking options for transactions via app/ATMs.
• Collaborate with Wealth Management, Mortgage and Business Banking teams for complex needs.
• Make outbound calls to acquire new customers and schedule financial checkups.
• Follow all bank policies and cash handling procedures.
