Job summary

Carvana is hiring Customer Advocates in San Diego to deliver a memorable car-buying experience at our car Vending Machine sites. You will assist customers, complete paperwork, and document interactions in our tracking system while ensuring a safe driving record.

With a starting hourly rate of 22–24 USD and performance-based growth, the role offers merit-based pay increases and potential overtime. Notary and local licensing requirements are part of the onboarding process.

Qualifications

• Experience in customer-facing roles is required.
• Able to read, write, speak and understand English.
• Must be able to perform physically demanding tasks (lifting, standing, walking).

Responsibilities

• Create a memorable pickup experience for customers at Carvana's vending machine site.
• Complete customer paperwork and record notes in the tracking system.
• Address customer questions or minor technical issues related to the vending process.
• Drive safely and maintain a clean driving record per policy.
• Obtain a Notary in your jurisdiction within first 90 days of employment.
• California employees must obtain a Vehicle Verifier license within 90 days.
• Certain states require a salesperson license within two weeks of employment.
