Job summary

Aaron’s is seeking a Customer Accounts Advisor in Chalmette, LA. The role focuses on coaching customers to complete lease renewals and timely payments, building strong connections over the phone and in-person to drive satisfaction and ownership.

You will manage accounts, renewals, and daily tasks with a fast-paced team, handling sales support, deliveries, and assets while maintaining professional interactions and excellent customer service.

Qualifications

• Must be 21+ with valid driver's license and clean MVR
• Must meet DOT requirements to obtain certification in required states
• Ability to work hours varying from 8 am to 9 pm
• Able to lift up to 50 lbs. and up to 300 lbs. with dolly
• Two years of retail/customer service experience preferred
• High School diploma or equivalent preferred
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
• Professional appearance and telephone etiquette
• Proficient in computers

Responsibilities

• Attainment and upkeep of customers’ accounts including updating information in store system
• Direct contact with customers who have not renewed Lease agreements by home visits and phone
• Sell benefits of timely lease renewal payments
• Assist the Customer Account Manager in meeting daily, weekly and monthly revenue and renewal goals
• Assist with merchandise returns and guest deliveries as directed by management
• Clean and certify merchandise in the Quality Assurance Center for items returned
• Complete and maintain weekly vehicle maintenance sheet and route sheets
• Load, secure and protect product in company vehicle
• Safely operate company vehicle
• Assist the Sales Team as needed
• Any reasonable duties requested by management
