Job summary

Associated Packaging, Inc. is seeking a Customer Account Specialist to support branch operations across the Home or Branch Office. You will work with sales, sourcing, and finance to set up customers, monitor receivables, and maintain portals.

The role requires at least three years in packaging, knowledge of AR processes, ERP systems, and Lean Six Sigma experience is a plus. The company offers a robust benefits package including PTO, 401k matching, Health Insurance, Dental and Vision coverage.

Qualifications

• Three years’ minimum experience in the packaging industry preferred.
• Knowledge of accounts receivable processes.
• Working knowledge of ERP systems and related IT applications; NetSuite preferred.
• Experience with Lean Six Sigma is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Set up new customers and suppliers, coordinating with sales and sourcing.
• Monitor and manage open accounts receivable past due for the branches.
• Set up and maintain customer portals; allocate portal costs.
• Access invoice status and payment information across portals.
• Support compliance requests with the sales team and home office.
• Review tax exemptions and status documents with Tax Accounting.
• Resolve open discrepancies with branches, sales, and suppliers.
• Collaborate with Customer Service and Accounting to resolve billing issues.
• Monitor KPIs and take corrective actions as needed.
• Support continuous improvement projects to reduce costs.
• Other tasks as assigned.
