Job summary

Michaels in Lafayette, LA is seeking a Store Leader to guide a framing team and develop customer relationships by delivering high-quality custom framing solutions.

You will coach teammates, manage workload, uphold SOPs, handle inventory and safety programs, and support with interviewing and onboarding. The role includes acting as Manager on Duty, ensuring a positive shopping experience and strong sales performance.

Qualifications

• Basic computer skills required.
• Previous custom framing experience preferred.
• Retail management experience preferred.
• Experience leading a sales team preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead and coach a team of framers to build customer relationships and framing solutions.
• Drive custom framing sales and assist customers in creating framing solutions.
• Assist Store Manager with SOPs, policies, and store standards.
• Manage workload, inventory, shrink and safety programs, and training.
• Serve as Manager on Duty and participate in interviewing and onboarding.
