Michaels Stores in Pittsburgh, PA is seeking a Stores Framing Manager to lead a team of framers and drive custom framing sales while delivering outstanding customer service. You'll plan workloads with the Store Manager, coach selling behaviors, manage inventory and safety programs, and serve as Manager on Duty.

This role requires leadership, people development, and a commitment to community-friendly service.

Qualifications

• Basic computer skills
• Previous custom framing experience is preferred
• Retail management experience
• Experience leading a sales team

Responsibilities

• Assist Store Manager in leading SOPs and Company programs to ensure compliance with laws and requirements; ensure execution of policies and standards; hold team accountable.
• Develop and coach the team selling behaviors.
• Lead delivery of high-quality custom framing solutions to customers on time by planning workload with the Store Manager.
• Achieve KPIs and manage the framing team to meet their KPI targets.
• Review sales and production workload and plan sales floor time for networking.
• Manage and execute inventory management, shrink and safety programs.
• Serve as Manager on Duty (MOD).
• Assist with interviewing, onboarding, coaching, training, and Talent Development activities.
• Interact respectfully with others and promote the organization's vision and values.
• Participate in truck unload and stocking processes and ensure SOPs and safety standards are followed.
• Acknowledge customers, help locate products, and provide framing solutions.
• Assist with Omni channel processes.
