Job summary

Qualifications

• Must have the ability to work flexible hours including evenings, nights, weekends and holidays.
• Ability to lift and carry heavy objects up to 50 pounds independently and up to 75 pounds with assistance.
• Ability to utilize wearable equipment.

This full-time (40 hours per week), year-round position in the Facilities Department is eligible for Williams College’s comprehensive benefits package, including health insurance, retirement plans, and paid time off.

The consistent hours & schedule for custodian positions is Monday - Friday, 5:30 am – 2:00 pm. Schedules may change based on department needs. This position is eligible for premium pay, including overtime and applicable shift differentials, for work performed during holidays, weekends, emergency snow response, and other qualifying shifts.
