Job summary

Jackson School District in Missouri is hiring two part-time custodians to join our team. The positions involve cleaning classrooms, offices, and common areas; 28 hours per week at $19.48 per hour, with a schedule of 5.5 hours over four days and 6.0 hours on one day. No experience is required; we will train.

Applicants must have a valid NJ Driver's License. Duties include cleaning floors, sweeping, mopping, disinfecting restrooms, restocking supplies, lifting up to 75 pounds, and performing other

Responsibilities

• Cleans floors of classrooms, offices, special rooms, corridors, stairs, entrances, lobbies and cafeteria, as assigned
• Sweeps, dry mops, wet mops, vacuums, floors
• Cleans and disinfects drinking fountains, bathroom floors, bowls, seats, and urinals in restrooms on a daily basis as assigned
• Fills paper and soap dispensers in assigned areas, as needed
• Removes trash as assigned
• Ability to lift 75 pounds at least 20% of the time; bend, lift, squat, crawl, climb stairs and ladders, shovel snow, stand for long periods of time
• Performs other duties that may be assigned by the Custodial Foreman or Custodial Night Supervisor
• Must have or get black seal license within one year

Pay Rate: $19.48/hr

5.5 hours 4 days/week , 6.0 hours 1 day/week
