Responsibilities

• Clean all floor areas in designated work locations using vacuuming, shampooing, sweeping, mopping, scrubbing, waxing or buffing.
• Dust, clean, or polish furniture and fixtures.
• Check and replace lavatory supplies.
• Assist with moving furniture, supplies and equipment.
• Collect trash from receptacles throughout the buildings.
• Clean and wash glass surfaces, ceilings, and walls.
• Shovel, salt and/or sand walks, stairs and entrances as directed.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Principal Responsibilities

• Cleans all floor areas in designated work locations, including vacuuming, shampooing, sweeping, mopping, scrubbing, waxing, or buffing.
• Dusts, cleans, or polishes furniture and fixtures.
• Checks and replaces necessary lavatory supplies.
• Assists with the moving of furniture, supplies and miscellaneous equipment.
• Collects trash from receptacles through the buildings.
• Cleans and washes glass surfaces, ceilings, and walls.
• Shovels, salts, and/or sands walks, stairs, building entrances as directed.
• Performs other duties as assigned.

Minimum Qualifications

• Two (2) years previous custodial experience
• Experience in operating machinery related to custodial activities
• Must have the ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds

Preferred Qualifications

• Ability to work under minimum supervision

SCHEDULE

• Monday - Friday, 10:30 p.m. to 7:00 a.m.
• 40 Hours per Week
• Half-Hour Lunch
• Shift differential of $4,176.00
