SBM Management is looking for a new Custodian/CSR to help them shine! We are searching for hardworking, dependable individuals to join our team as our company continues to grow. We have an immediate opening for a custodian who wants to deliver exceptional customer satisfaction. The ideal candidates should have strong customer service skills and work well with team members. The CSR works effectively with co-workers and customers, understands and follows explicit instructions (both oral and written), and can communicate job-related data clearly. Good judgment and the ability to explain work methods or instructions are essential. The role may also involve training others or demonstrating work processes.

Responsibilities

• Floor care (vacuuming, mopping, carpet spotting)
• Surface care (dusting, sanitizing, cleaning glass/mirrors/windows, polishing metal/wood, cleaning blinds and draperies)
• Waste removal (emptying trash and recycle bins, transporting waste to disposal areas)
• Light maintenance (replacing bulbs, restocking supplies)
• Complying with safety rules, policies, and procedures
• Following protocols and company policies
• Responding to supervision and taking direction
• Using proper personal protective equipment
• Presenting a professional appearance and conduct
• Understanding reporting systems and environmental safety
• Transporting equipment and supplies, cleaning common areas, and assisting with janitorial tasks such as restroom restocking and cleaning, dusting, and organizing supplies

Qualifications

• Reliable transportation
• Less than high school education or up to one month of related experience/training, or equivalent
• Ability to read simple words and numbers, communicate effectively, and perform basic math
• Valid driver’s license if driving on company or personal vehicle for work, with proof of registration and insurance
• Bilingual skills are a plus but not required

Compensation: $18.50 - $19.00 per hour

Shift: On-Call, Monday - Friday, 7:00 am - 3:30 pm
