SBM Management is looking for a new Custodian/CSR to help them shine! We are searching for hardworking, dependable individuals to join the team as our company continues to grow. We have an immediate opening for a custodian who wants to deliver exceptional customer satisfaction. The ideal custodial members should have strong customer service skills and be able to work successfully with other team members.

The CSR works well with co-workers and customers, understands and follows explicit instructions, and can communicate effectively both orally and in writing. Good judgment in decision-making is required, along with the ability to explain work methods and assist in training others.

Responsibilities

• Floor care (vacuuming, mopping, carpet spotting)
• Surface care (dusting, sanitizing, glass/mirror/window cleaning, metal/wood polishing, cleaning blinds and draperies)
• Waste removal (emptying trash and recycling bins, transporting waste to disposal areas)
• Light maintenance (replacing light bulbs, restocking supplies)
• Complying with safety rules, policies, and procedures
• Following all protocols, company procedures, policies, and rules
• Taking direction and responding to supervision
• Using proper personal protective equipment
• Presenting a professional appearance and conduct
• Understanding reporting systems and environment
• Transporting small equipment and supplies, cleaning areas, restocking supplies, and assisting with janitorial tasks as needed

Qualifications

• Reliable transportation
• Up to one month of related experience or training, or equivalent education
• Ability to read, recognize similarities and differences between words and numbers, and communicate effectively
• Basic math skills including addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division
• Knowledge of measurement units and currency
• Valid driver’s license and proof of vehicle registration and insurance if driving
• Bilingual skills are a plus but not required

Compensation: $16.00-$17.00 per hour

Shift: 8:00am - 4:30pm Monday-Friday
