Avenues Recovery Center in Covington, LA is seeking a dedicated custodial team member to maintain cleanliness and the smooth operation of our facility. The role involves routine custodial duties, restocking, and upkeep to ensure a clean, safe environment for clients and staff.

The ideal candidate has CPR certification, at least two years of custodial experience, and adheres to recovery principles with a sober period if in recovery. Strong communication and time-management skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Minimum of two years' related custodial experience.
• If in recovery, a minimum one-year period of sustained sobriety is required.

What You’ll Do

• Maintain the cleanliness and smooth function of property and plant
• Perform routine custodial duties such as cleaning, restocking, removing garbage etc.
• Provide consistent operational support as required by the Executive Director
• Complete daily, weekly, and monthly checklists to ensure cleanliness and upkeep of facility
• Report on all activities completed, escalating any concerns to the Executive Director

What We’re Looking For

• CPR certification is required!
• Minimum of two years' related experience preferred
• If in recovery, a minimum one-year period of sustained sobriety is required
• Excellent communication, multitasking, and time management skills
• Strong responsibility and attention to detail
• Dignified, honest character which models recovery principles
