Job summary

Avenues Recovery Center is seeking a dedicated maintenance/custodial professional to uphold the cleanliness and smooth operation of our Prince Frederick facility. The role involves routine cleaning, restocking, and supporting the Executive Director with operational tasks.

Candidates should have at least two years of related experience, strong communication, multitasking and time management skills, and a responsible, detail-oriented attitude that aligns with recovery principles.

Qualifications

• No formal education required.
• Minimum of two years' related experience preferred.
• If in recovery, a minimum one-year period of sustained sobriety is required.
• Excellent communication, multitasking, and time management skills.
• Strong responsibility and attention to detail.
• Dignified, honest character which models recovery principles.

Responsibilities

• Maintain the cleanliness and smooth function of property and plant.
• Perform routine custodial duties such as cleaning, restocking, removing garbage etc.
• Provide consistent operational support as required by the Executive Director
• Complete daily, weekly, and monthly checklists to ensure cleanliness and upkeep of facility
• Report on all activities completed, escalating any concerns to the Executive Director
