Job summary

The Carol Stream Park District is seeking part-time custodial staff to maintain cleanliness across indoor facilities. Responsibilities include janitorial tasks, locker rooms, and light maintenance, with room setups and breakdowns for events.

Applicants should be able to work independently, pass a background check, and be available for weekend shifts. Minimum age is 18, with shifts between early morning and late evening.

Qualifications

• Previous custodial/building maintenance experience preferred, but not required.
• Ability to work with minimum supervision.
• Self-motivator and willingness to perform various tasks.
• Must successfully pass a background check.

Responsibilities

• Provide general janitorial and light maintenance for park facilities.
• Clean offices, locker rooms and restrooms and other areas as assigned.

Salary & Benefits

• Starting at $16.00/hour - $17.00/hour.

Days & Hours

• Part-time position (employees do not work more than 1,000 hours in a calendar year).
• Various shifts between 4:30am - 11:00pm, 7:00pm - 2:00am.
• Weekends are a must!

Job Requirements

The Carol Stream Park District is currently looking for individuals who can work independently with little or no supervision and who will take pride in maintaining the cleanliness of our indoor facilities. Our custodial staff provides general janitorial and light maintenance for all of our Park District Facilities. Duties include cleaning offices, locker rooms and restrooms (as well as other areas of our facilities), room setups, and breakdowns. Other job duties as assigned.
