Job summary

Compass Group USA's ESFM division is seeking a Janitorial Facilities Manager in Fort Wayne, IN to supervise custodial and related services within assigned contracts, ensuring quality, safety, and client satisfaction.

You will allocate work, schedule staff, approve time and overtime, train custodians, monitor supplies and equipment, and perform hands-on cleaning when needed, with evenings and weekend hours as required.

Qualifications

• Strong organizational and planning skills.
• Ability to work effectively under pressure and manage multiple priorities.
• Demonstrate excellent customer service skills.
• Bilingual English/Spanish is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate custodial services across assigned areas (common areas, service hallways, food court, etc.).
• Create schedules to maintain properly skilled staffing levels and satisfy client requirements.
• Approve vacation time, overtime, and timecards; train custodians on equipment.
• Counsel and coordinate with customer management; inspect and ensure satisfactory job performance.
• Monitor supplies and ensure equipment is in proper working condition.
