Job summary

Quality Vision International in Rochester, NY is seeking a Technical Training Specialist to develop and deliver training for internal service teams and external customers. You will build curricula, organize sessions, and certify attendees while advancing calibration and repair processes.

The role requires 3–5 years in technical service, strong communication, and travel as needed. A degree in engineering tech or related field is preferred, with proficiency in Office tools and LMS.

Qualifications

• Associate's or higher in engineering technology or related field; bachelor's preferred.
• 3–5 years in technical service, field service, technical support, or related area.
• Experience delivering technical training and developing instructional materials.
• Strong written and verbal communication and presentation skills.
• Willingness to travel domestically and internationally as needed.

Responsibilities

• Creates a service curriculum that will be the standard training offerings for OGP.
• Module-based product, accessory, and technology-based training.
• Adjust curriculum as new products/technology are introduced and legacy products/technology are retired.
• Develops the syllabus for each standard training offering.
• Base each class on the attendee's skill set and needs.
• Develops and utilizes existing content to provide service-based training classes.
• Organizes content in a structured manner for easy implementation.
• Organizes subject matter experts to lead sections of the training class.
• Administers classes, including creating a welcoming environment and scheduling resources.
• Ensures proper mix of hands-on and textbook activities and provides tests and certifications.
