Job summary

PeakMade Real Estate seeks a Groundskeeper to maintain our community grounds and common areas in Los Angeles. This onsite role emphasizes curb appeal, safety, cleanliness, and excellent resident relations.

You’ll work with the maintenance team to uphold Peak standards and support pool and outdoor maintenance as needed. The position requires a high school diploma, some maintenance experience, and the ability to operate cleaning tools.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Previous grounds, janitorial and/or maintenance experience preferred.
• Position requires ability to use general cleaning equipment and tools.

Responsibilities

• Maintain an excellent customer service relationship by adhering to Peak standards.
• Work with maintenance team to ensure curb appeal at all times.
• Inspect exterior grounds and buildings daily.
• Pick up trash on grounds.
• Run trash compactor daily, including weekends as scheduled.
• Clean mailbox area daily.
• Water flowers, plants and shrubs as needed.
• Perform swimming pool maintenance/cleaning as needed.
• Maintain swimming pool chemical records per state/local requirements.
• Assist in daily upkeep and cleanliness of office, clubhouse and amenity areas.
• Check and replace light bulbs as needed.
• Maintain painting of curbs and speed bumps.
• Sweep, blow and pressure wash breezeways, parking lots and common areas.
• Deliver/post correspondence, newsletters and flyers.
• Assist in turn events.
• Trash out vacant units.
• Address complaints and resolve issues professionally.
