Job summary

Gallery Residential is seeking a Groundskeeper to maintain the exterior features of the community, ensuring cleanliness and curb appeal. The role includes assisting with minor repairs under guidance, and collaborating with the Service Director and Community Director.

Responsibilities include daily site inspections, trash removal, assisting with make-readies, and ensuring safety standards. This position requires punctuality, physical stamina, and a valid driver’s license.

Qualifications

• Education/Experience: High school diploma or GED is preferred.
• Language Ability: Proficiency in reading and understanding product labels, safety procedures, and company policies.
• Math Ability: Ability to perform basic mathematical operations for maintenance tasks.
• Reasoning Ability: Apply logical thinking to define and solve problems.
• Computer Skills: Rudimentary knowledge to access company software and perform basic tasks.
• Certificates and Licenses: Current valid driver’s license is required.

Responsibilities

• Inspects the community daily to remove litter, debris, and pet droppings; keeps common areas clean.
• Removes trash from vacant apartments before make-ready and maintains storage areas.
• Performs minor routine service requests and assists with the turn process.
• Ensures locks and pool gates operate according to safety standards.
