Job summary

Gallery Residential is seeking a Groundskeeper to maintain exterior features, grounds, and curb appeal of the community. You will perform routine tasks, assist with make-ready processes, and address minor repairs under direction of the Service Director and Community Director.

The role requires reliability, ability to work outdoors in varied conditions, and basic tools operation. Training on OSHA safety and company policies will be provided; a valid driver’s license is required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Demonstrated ability to read, understand, and comply with product labels, safety policies, and procedures manuals.
• Mathematical skills to perform basic maintenance tasks (add/subtract/multiply/divide).
• Ability to apply logical thinking and follow instructions.
• Rudimentary computer skills to access company software.

Responsibilities

• Inspect the community daily to remove litter, debris, and pet droppings; keep common areas neat and clean.
• Clear vacant apartments of trash and prep for make-ready; transfer trash to dumpster or storage.
• Handle minor service requests as directed by Service Director/Community Director; assist turnover.
• Ensure gates and pool area codes/safety standards are met; change locks as required.
• Communicate with residents and staff; respond to questions and resolve complaints professionally.
