Job summary

Murray Calloway County Hospital - CNS is seeking a Culinary Supervisor to lead the hospital's food and nutrition team, ensuring patient meals are accurate and delivered promptly. You will supervise staff, maintain high service standards, and work across day, evening, and night shifts in a full- and part-time capacity.

Responsibilities include overseeing meal preparation for dietary restrictions, coordinating with dietary and patient services, and ensuring adherence to health and safety policies

Qualifications

• Must be at least 17 years old.
• Must practice good personal hygiene and be neatly groomed in a uniform.
• Communicate effectively in English and work well in a team environment.
• Preferred: 6+ months of supervisor experience ( cook, line cook, commercial kitchen, fast food, culinary operations, restaurants, supervisor, dietary department, foodservice, hourly manager, healthcare )

• Supervisor team members to ensure smooth operations of the criteria, doctor's dining, catering, and/or patient meals
• Ensure each patient receives an accurate meal that matches their order and diet requirements
• Provide excellent customer service for all patients, staff, and visitors

Support the culinary director to lead the food and nutrition team at a hospital. Ensure patient meals are accurate and are delivered in a timely fashion. Provide excellent customer service to ensure every patient is satisfied with their meal.

Physical Requirements

Prolonged standing and walking continuously, frequent stooping, and bending and lifting up to 50 pounds

Must be able to operate equipment necessary to perform essential functions of the job
