Job summary

HHS Culinary and Nutrition Solutions, LLC is hiring a Culinary Supervisor at Bon Secours St Vincent Medical Center to lead the food and nutrition team, ensure patient meals are accurate and delivered in a timely fashion, and provide excellent customer service to patients. This full-time role offers a competitive wage and shift coverage across day, evening, and night hours.

The position requires age 17+, strong English communication, hygiene standards, and the ability to work well in a team.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 17 years old.
• Must practice good personal hygiene and be neatly groomed in a uniform.
• Communicate effectively in English and work well in a team environment.
• Preferred: 6+ months of supervisor experience in a culinary/foodservice setting.

Responsibilities

• Supervise team to ensure smooth operations of patient meals.
• Ensure each patient receives an accurate meal that matches their order and diet requirements.
• Provide excellent customer service for patients, staff and visitors.
• Adhere to the facility’s health and safety policies and procedures.
• Assist team members and management to help the department operate efficiently.

Job Description

We’re looking for friendly, compassionate, team players to join our culinary team!

Support the culinary director to lead the food and nutrition team at a hospital. Ensure patient meals are accurate and are delivered in a timely fashion. Provide excellent customer service to ensure every patient is satisfied with their meal.

• Wage: $20/hour
• Full-time positions available
• Day/Evening/Night shifts available
• Background check, drug screen, and proof of employment eligibility required

Responsibilities

• Supervise team members to ensure smooth operations of the criteria, doctor’s dining, catering, and/or patient meals
• Ensure each patient receives an accurate meal that matches their order and diet requirements
• Provide excellent customer service for all patients, staff, and visitors
• Adhere to the facility’s health and safety policies and procedures
• Assist team members and management as needed to help the department operate efficiently

Qualifications

• Must be at least 17 years old

• Communicate effectively in English and work well in a team environment
• Preferred: 6+ months of supervisor experience ( cook, line cook, commercial kitchen, fast food, culinary operations, restaurants, supervisor, dietary department, foodservice, hourly manager, healthcare )

Physical Requirements

• Prolonged standing and walking continuously, frequent stooping, and bending and lifting up to 50 pounds
• Must be able to operate equipment necessary to perform essential functions of the job
