Job summary

Sur La Table in Orlando is seeking a General Manager to lead the store’s culinary and retail teams, drive standards, and deliver exceptional guest experiences. You will develop talent, optimize operations, and execute strategies to meet sales goals while upholding brand promises.

This role requires strong leadership, retail and culinary knowledge, customer focus, and the ability to manage busy, high-volume environments.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of retail management experience, preferably in a culinary or specialty retail environment.
• Current Food Manager Certification, or ability to acquire certification as needed.
• Proven track record of achieving sales and motivating high performing sales teams while meeting operational goals.
• Strong leadership skills with the ability to inspire, develop, and retain a high performing team.
• Excellent communication, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities.
• Passion for community engagement and providing exceptional customer experiences.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and retail management systems preferred.

• Develop and implement strategies for merchandising, marketing, and customer engagement to exceed sales goals.
• Oversee daily store operations, ensuring compliance with policies and procedures and maintaining inventory accuracy.
