Job summary

Sodexo is hiring a Production Cook at Southwest Baptist University to prepare and present hot and cold dishes for all meal periods and events. You will work in a fast-paced kitchen, following Sodexo quality standards and safety practices to ensure top-notch service.

The role offers varied shifts and weekend rotation, with full-time employment and competitive benefits. A high school diploma and 0–2 years of related experience are preferred.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent required.
• 0–2 years of related work experience.
• Knowledge of basic operation of equipment and food-handling procedures preferred.
• Ability to follow written and verbal instructions.
• Good working knowledge of food preparation.
• Must read and follow a recipe unsupervised.

Responsibilities

• Prepare, portion, cook, and present hot and cold items per Sodexo culinary standards.
• Follow recipes and product directions for soups, meats, vegetables, and desserts.
• Estimate food requirements and check production to plan supplies.
• Maintain a clean, organized workstation and safe food-handling practices.
• Work in a fast-paced kitchen and attend scheduled shifts on time.
