Job summary

Sodexo at Southeastern Oklahoma State University is seeking a Cook to join our campus dining team. You will prepare, portion, cook, and present a variety of hot and cold items for all meal periods, following Sodexo's culinary standards and safety guidelines.

In a fast-paced kitchen, you will work with teammates to ensure quality, efficiency, and a clean workstation, while adhering to safety and sanitation practices and participating in ongoing training.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent experience.
• 0–2 years of related work experience.
• Knowledge of basic food-handling procedures.
• Ability to follow written and verbal instructions.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and present hot and cold foods to Sodexo standards.
• Follow recipes and product directions for diverse dishes.
• Estimate production needs and manage supplies and equipment.
• Walk or stand for extended periods in a fast-paced kitchen.
• Maintain a clean, organized workstation and adhere to food safety.
