Job summary

Health Dimensions Group, Inc seeks a Culinary Director / Culinary Manager to lead the dining team and craft nutritious menus for residents. You will oversee menu planning, food prep, staffing, budgeting, and regulatory compliance, partnering with a Registered Dietitian.

You will mentor cooks and aides, maintain high standards, and drive a positive kitchen culture while ensuring resident satisfaction and safety.

Qualifications

• Certified Dietary Manager (CDM) or eligible to sit for the exam.
• Completion of an accredited nutrition services or food service management program (or equivalent experience).
• Minimum of 2 years in institutional food service management preferred.
• Knowledge of therapeutic diets, quantity food prep, budgeting, and food safety standards.

Responsibilities

• Lead culinary excellence: oversee operations, menu planning, staffing and budgeting.
• Develop and inspire your team: supervise, train, and coach staff.
• Deliver dining experiences: ensure timely, well-presented meals and coordinate special events.
• Manage operations with purpose: maintain inventory, control costs, and report on compliance.
