Job summary

Aramark is hiring a Cook to bring recipes to life with creativity, using fresh ingredients and top equipment. You will follow production guidelines and safety procedures while exploring diverse cuisines and cooking styles on a dynamic team.

Responsibilities include preparing ingredients, cooking to recipes, maintaining workstation cleanliness, and upholding food safety standards. Excellent customer service and a proactive attitude are essential.

Qualifications

• Experience as a cook or in a related role is required.
• Knowledge of basic food preparation, cooking methods, and food safety regulations.
• Must be able to obtain food safety certification.
• Demonstrates basic math and counting skills.
• Demonstrates interpersonal communication skills, both written and verbal.

Responsibilities

• Cook and prepare a variety of foods according to production guidelines and recipes.
• Set up workstation with needed ingredients and equipment.
• Prepare ingredients by measuring, weighing, mixing, chopping, and peeling.
• Safely use utensils including knives.
• Operate ovens, stoves, slicers, mixers and other equipment.
• Bake, roast, broil, steam and use various cooking methods.
• Arrange and portion food per guidelines.
• Store food per safety policies and procedures.
• Clean and sanitize work areas and equipment.
• Maintain excellent customer service and a positive demeanor.
