Aramark is seeking a Cook to bring recipes to life with creativity, working around fresh ingredients and varied equipment. You will follow production guidelines, prepare ingredients, and ensure food safety while delivering friendly service to guests and clients.

You will operate ovens, stoves, and mixers, adjusting cooking methods to meet guidelines and client needs. This role emphasizes teamwork and adherence to safety policies in a fast-paced setting.

Qualificações

• Experience as a cook or in a related role.
• Validated knowledge of the basic principles of food preparation and safety.
• Must be able to acquire food safety certification.
• Demonstrate basic math and counting skills.
• Demonstrates interpersonal communication skills, both written and verbal.

Responsabilidades

• Cook and prepare a variety of food according to production guidelines and standardized recipes.
• Set up workstation with all needed ingredients and equipment.
• Prepare ingredients by measuring, weighing, mixing, chopping, trimming, and peeling food items.
• Safely use a variety of utensils including knives.
• Operate equipment such as ovens, stoves, slicers, mixers, etc.
• Bake, roast, broil, steam, and use a variety of cooking methods on meat, vegetables, and other foods.
• Arrange, garnish, and portions food according to established guidelines.
• Properly store food by adhering to food safety policies and procedures.
• Clean and sanitize work areas, equipment, and utensils.
• Maintain excellent customer service and positive demeanor towards guests, customers, clients, co-workers, etc.
• Adheres to Aramark safety policies and procedures including accurate food safety and sanitation.
• Ensures security of company assets
