Job summary

Sur La Table is seeking a Kitchen Assistant to support chefs, interact with guests, and help run engaging culinary classes. You will assist with mise en place, maintain a clean, organized kitchen, and ensure safety and quality in all tasks.

A passion for cooking and teamwork is essential. Responsibilities include assisting with class execution, driving guest satisfaction, and maintaining brand standards while following health and safety guidelines.

Qualifications

• 1 year retail sales experience preferred.
• 1 year food prep and/or kitchen operations experience preferred.
• Valid Food Handlers Certification.

Responsibilities

• Represent the Sur La Table brand by creating memorable learning experiences.
• Support chefs to ensure smooth class operations and guest engagement.
• Help achieve class revenue goals through high enrollment and positive guest feedback.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of kitchen and prep areas.
• Follow food safety standards and health regulations.
