Job summary

Hyatt Wild Dunes Resort in Isle of Palms, SC is seeking a Culinary Chef to lead Huey’s at the Links Clubhouse. The role oversees daily kitchen operations, menu development, and quality control, reporting to the Culinary Department Head/Manager.

Experience in culinary management is required. The position is full-time, with a flexible schedule including evenings, weekends, and holidays, at a resort known for awards and guest experiences.

Qualifications

• The Chef is responsible for monitoring the daily functions of one of these areas, including providing support and guidance to the culinary team and creating, implementing, and maintaining quality standards.
• Previous Culinary Management experience is required.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement creative menu items that adhere to Hyatt brand standards.
• Manage colleagues through scheduling, payroll, training, coaching, evaluating, and hiring.
• Monitor food production, ordering, cost, quality, and consistency daily.
• Ensure proper safety and sanitation of all kitchen facilities and equipment.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule that will likely include evenings, weekends, and holidays.
