Job summary

SRI Management’s Village Veranda at Lady Lake in Lady Lake, FL is seeking a dining services aide to assist with food preparation and serving for residents, families, and guests. Under supervision, you will follow established procedures and contribute to a warm, dignified dining experience.

You will assist with meal service, maintain sanitation, and help keep kitchen and dining areas clean while communicating respectfully with residents and team members, and adhering to HIPAA requirements.

Qualifications

• Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos.
• Ability to write simple correspondence and present information in one-on-one and small group settings.

Responsibilities

• Assist with food preparation and serving according to the established menu.
• Follow sanitation, safety, and cleaning schedules.
• Serve residents in the dining room at breakfast, lunch, and dinner daily.
• Maintain clean, safe dining and kitchen areas.
• Communicate with residents in a language they understand.
• Report safety hazards to the supervisor promptly.
