Job summary

SRIM is seeking a Dining Services Assistant in Florida to support residents, families and staff by assisting with food preparation and serving at breakfast, lunch and dinner.

Under general supervision, you will help maintain a clean kitchen and dining room, follow sanitation and safety procedures, and respond to residents' requests with care and respect. This role requires a high school diploma or GED and a cooperative, team-oriented attitude.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED or equivalent with minimal related experience.
• Ability to read instructions and follow procedures.
• Willingness to work in dining services with residents.

Responsibilities

• Assist with food preparation according to the established menu.
• Serve residents in the dining room at breakfast, lunch, and dinner daily.
• Clean kitchen, dining areas and food storage spaces daily.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and orderly environment for residents.
• Respond promptly and courteously to residents' requests for assistance.
• Communicate effectively with residents, families and staff.
• Follow HIPAA regulations and safety procedures in all tasks.
• Attend trainings and comply with dress code and attendance policies.
