Job summary

Atlanta Technical College invites applications for an Adjunct Instructor, Culinary Arts (Part-Time). The position is on ATC's main campus, South of Downtown Atlanta, offering up to 29 hours per week with instruction in both classroom and practical settings.

The ideal candidate has teaching experience in culinary arts; strong industry background; and a commitment to student success and professional standards. Evening and weekend teaching may be required.

Qualifications

• Must possess teaching experience in culinary arts with a track record of student success.
• Industry experience as Sous Chef or higher preferred; leadership in kitchen settings.
• Current SERV Safe Certification required.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and deliver curriculum with daily classroom and practical instruction.
• Teach savory food preparation, baking, and culinary arts concepts.
• Integrate nutrition, food safety, and cost control into instruction.
• Follow approved course syllabus and adapt to part-time schedule.
• Assist with multi-cultural instruction and inclusive teaching.
