Job summary

Atlanta Technical College invites qualified applicants for its Adjunct Instructor (Allied Health) position, a part-time role located on ATC's main campus just south of Downtown Atlanta. The instructor will deliver credited allied health core courses under supervision of the Dean and Program Chair.

Candidates must hold an associate degree in a healthcare field, have 3 years of related experience, and be credentialed for courses.

Qualifications

• Must possess an Associate degree in a Healthcare profession from a regionally accredited institution.
• Three (3) years of related work experience within the last five (5) years.
• Must be credentialed to satisfy all appropriate accrediting bodies for courses assigned.
• BLS CPR Certification.
• Proficiency in teaching infection control, vital signs, and basic emergency care.

Responsibilities

• Provide instruction for credited allied health core course syllabus.
• Prepare curriculum and syllabus for coursework being taught.
• Evaluate students’ progress and maintain grade records.
• Administer and grade examinations.
• Assist with recruitment, retention, and job placement efforts.
• Meet with students, staff, and supervisors as needed.
