Job summary

MISTRAS Group is seeking an experienced Corrosion Under Insulation (CUI) Support Lead to backstop field operations at the Kuparuk River Unit on Alaska's North Slope. The role focuses on field leadership, safety oversight, crew support, and coordinating operations with coordinators, inspectors, and management.

The position includes hands-on field time, mentoring CUI Technicians, and ensuring compliance with client and regulatory requirements while promoting efficiency and teamwork on a remote,

Qualifications

• Experience in Corrosion Under Insulation (CUI), NDT, inspection, or related field preferred.
• Previous field leadership, crew lead, supervisory, or coordination experience preferred.
• Strong understanding of workplace safety requirements and field safety practices.
• Ability to work effectively in a remote, industrial environment.
• Ability to travel and work a rotational North Slope schedule.
• Must meet client/site training and certification requirements.

Responsibilities

• Promote and maintain a strong safety culture and ensure crew follow safety standards.
• Serve as safety leader ensuring compliance with policies and regulations.
• Collaborate with Coordinators and Inspectors to support field operations.
• Expedite tools, materials, PPE, and resources to the field to maximize productivity.
• Spend ~50% of time in the field providing hands-on support.
• Conduct inspections and field observations for quality and safety compliance.
• Lead and mentor CUI Technicians and crew members.
