Job summary

Yahoo is seeking a Sr. Director of CTO FP&A to lead financial planning and analysis for the Central Technology Organization. You’ll partner with CTO and engineering leaders on budgeting, ROI, and technology investments across Opex and Capex.

You will drive AI-enabled analytics, forecast accuracy, and month-end close enhancements while guiding senior stakeholders through complex financial discussions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, or related field.
• 10+ years in finance, FP&A or financial operations with focus on technology.
• 5+ years of management experience.
• Strong understanding of cloud services and pricing.

Responsibilities

• Lead forecasting, annual budgeting, long-range planning and executive presentations.
• Advise CTO/engineering leaders on cost allocations, ROI and TCO.
• Manage monthly, quarterly, and annual CTO P&L reviews.
• Drive AI-enabled analytics to improve forecast accuracy and close.
• Develop detailed short- and long-term financial projections.
