Job summary

Barnes-Jewish Hospital in Missouri is seeking a Nursing Assistant to support the Cardiothoracic ICU team. You will provide direct patient care under licensed nurses, assist with ADLs, monitor vital signs, and contribute to a safe patient environment during night shifts.

This role requires a High School Diploma or GED and a CNA certification is preferred. The position is 36 hours per week with night hours from 7 pm to 7 am and includes holiday rotation and weekend shifts.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• No prior experience required.
• Certified Nurse Assistant license preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care under nurse supervision.
• Administer or assist with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs) and vital signs.
• Document care activities with medical terminology and report changes to the nurse.
• Maintain supplies and equipment for patient needs and safety.
