RWJBarnabas Health is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) for the CTICU C-4 Cardiothoracic Unit at Newark Beth Israel Medical Center in Newark, NJ. The role is full-time during the day, offering growth within a supportive team and a culture focused on safety and patient-centered care.

Candidates should hold NJ RN licensure, BLS at hire, ACLS within 120 days, and prefer CCRN; ADN is required with BS preferred. 2+ years in critical care and EPIC experience are highly desirable.

Qualifications

• Active New Jersey RN license in good standing.
• American Heart Association BLS certification at hire; ACLS within 120 days.
• CCRN preferred.
• ASN required; Bachelor's degree preferred.
• Minimum 2 years in Critical Care, ICU or ED; experience with EMR (EPIC).

Responsibilities

• Communicate effectively with interdisciplinary teams, patients and families.
• Conduct comprehensive patient assessments and recognize clinical changes.
• Provide safe, evidence-based medications and hands-on care.
• Partner with physicians and providers to support timely care decisions.
• Educate patients and families for next phase of care.
• Document accurately in the EMR to promote continuity and safety.
• Contribute to rounds and collaborative transitions of care.
• Engage in continuous professional growth and education.
