Job summary

RWJBarnabas Health's Jersey City Medical Center is seeking a Registered Nurse for the Cardiac Post CTICU. The role is day-shift, 35.3 hours per week, Mon-Fri with every other weekend.

You will provide nursing care within the scope of practice, ensure safety, and collaborate with the care team to deliver high-quality, evidence-based services. Requirements include an ASN or Nursing Diploma, NJ RN license, BLS at hire and ACLS within 6 months, plus TCAR and a Critical Care course after 3 months.

Qualifications

• Strong communication and organizational skills required
• Proficient computer skills required

Responsibilities

• Provides nursing care within the scope of practice defined by the Nurse Practice Act and regulatory standards.
• Ensures patient safety and quality of care through evidence-based practices.
• Supervises and delegates tasks to the care team and collaborates with other providers.
• Maintains knowledge of the patient population served and adapts care accordingly.
