Job summary

RWJBarnabas Health is hiring a Clinical Care Technician to support the nursing team in the Post Intensive Care Unit at the New Brunswick campus. The role focuses on assisting with vital signs, mobility, personal care, and documentation in the EHR to ensure safe patient care.

The position requires a High School Diploma or GED and a current American Heart Association BLS certification. CNA certification or nursing assistant experience is preferred, with a 24-hour week over two shifts (7am–7:30pm)

Qualifications

• Must have a High School Diploma or GED.
• Current American Heart Association BLS certification required.
• Nursing assistant experience or CNA certificate preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist patients with daily living activities and provide nursing care, including vitals, EKGs, and phlebotomy.
• Monitor vital signs and document patient information in the EHR with confidentiality.
• Follow infection control protocols to maintain a safe environment for patients and staff.
• Communicate with patients, families, and clinicians to coordinate care plans.
