Job summary

Pueblo Community College is seeking a CTE Student Services Advisor, SW to provide student-facing support for Career and Technical Education students at PCC Southwest, focusing on advising, enrollment guidance, retention, and career-connected services.

Collaborating with Student Services, CTE staff, high schools, CE staff, and community partners, you will help strengthen recruitment, completion, and workforce pathways for CTE students.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or associate degree with related professional experience in higher education.
• At least 1 year of experience in higher education or direct student support.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive academic advising and graduation planning for all CTE students, ensuring they understand program requirements and progress toward completion.
• Lead recruitment initiatives for all CTE programs, including community events and high school visits.
• Facilitate the student enrollment process, guiding admissions, registration, and financial aid resources for a seamless transition into CTE programs.
• Provide student-facing guidance for selective admission processes, helping students understand requirements and navigate program-specific protocols.
• Implement retention initiatives and monitor student progress using early alert systems for timely interventions.
• Assist students with compliance requirements for clinical placements, POST, or practical experiences.
• Coordinate with CE staff for program guidance and updates, and support faculty coordinators for a cohesive student experience.
• Serve as a student-facing expert for Navigate, Banner, D2L, Recruit, and other student success tools.
