Job summary

Cape Fear Community College is seeking an Academic Advisor within the Academic Advising Center to deliver high-quality advising to CTE students, guiding them in program selection and academic planning. You will collaborate with CTE faculty, Economic & Workforce Development staff, and Student Services to support student success.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or higher from an accredited college or university.
• Excellent oral, written, and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work with diverse student populations and collaborate across departments.

Responsibilities

• Guide CTE students in exploring programs and educational pathways.
• Assist with course registration and navigation of Self-Service and college systems.
• Develop group advising sessions and collaborate with faculty advisors.
• Maintain confidential student records and provide timely, student-centered service.
